So You Wanna Be a Leader? Quit with the Cut and Paste

http://www.SabrinaCoffin.com Imagine your response if you were surfing the web and came across something YOU wrote, but it's on someone else's website and they aren't even on your team..... and it's EXACTLY like how you wrote it. No spin off, but the exact content with your style and THEIR name. Hmmm....So you wanna be a leader, huh? Listen up.....this is a somewhat funny story.

Oops, I see I repeated myself in my comment. I don't see a way to edit the comment. Sorry! Steam was coming out of my ears while I was thinking about that issue and writing it so my thinking wasn't clear.

OH MY GOD - that has happened to me so many times! Things I've worked hours and hours and hours on gets copy and pasted & stolen as if it were their own!

I'm a prolific blogger with a number of blogs and this is a problem for me to always worry about. And this is enough of a problem for me that I don't feel it should be ignored. There's a service that monitors if something is copied on the internet. I think it's called copyscape or something like that. I'm going to see if I can find it.

I'm a blogger and have a number of blogs, all with my own original content. And the ones who steel the content are never on my team, they are competitors in the same company as mine.

I could give so many examples of this happening and every time I think about it, it just infuriates me. I confronted only once, but I don't think this should be ignored. My competitors are using my content to advance their own business and those they are recruiting or selling to are not going to know who originated the content.

Words cannot describe how much I hate this stealing. I'm not confrontational either, but I can't continue to sit by and watch people benefit from my hard work and efforts. They are running their business with ease without having to do a thing!

I don't feel this should be dismissed or ignored. These people are thieves and shouldn't be allowed to get away with it!
